Building a glossary

I’ve decided to develop a glossary/explanation of industrial terms and I’d appreciate your assistance. The decision to undertake this was inspired by somebody who sent me a bunch of terms, the meaning of which they were uncertain. I will be adding a category for the glossary over in the right side bar. Now, since I’ve been doing this a long time, it is difficult for me to know what you don’t know or would like to know. It would be fabulous if you could use the comment feature to request terms to be added. These are the terms and topics suggested thus far:

Regarding quality and price points: The differences between designer, bridge, better, moderate, budget lines.

Regarding apparel classes: Activewear, sportswear, casual wear etc

Regarding production systems: Bundling systems such as PBS (Progressive Bundle System), UPS (Unit Production System).

Duplicates
Custom (as used by a sewing contractor)

    Hi Kathleen,

I looked for the glossary, but I can’t find it. When I clicked on the catagories and went to glossary, it came up with articles. I thought I would be looking for a list. Thank you!!

hmm. Yes I ended up creating a glossary category. I suppose we could beef this up by leaving links to other glossaries on the web. There probably used to be, for some reason I’ve lost comments, wordpress eats them sometimes and I don’t know what to do about it…
