Other than the end of year holidays, this is the slowest time of year on the inter-tubes with the kiddos finally out of school and the independence day holidays of both Canada (July 1) and the United States (today). But those are not the only auspicious occasions of the week; July 1st was Zombie Day, a popular event on the science blogs (thanks Alison). I commemorated the day by watching my favorite zombie movie, Shaun of the Dead. Truly riotous. I looked in vain for an image file that would cover all three memorable occasions but could not find an image of Zombies embracing flags of any sort, much less those of Canada and the US. Hmm. I’m sure that says something but I’m not sure what.
If you find some time to kill, here’s this week’s entries from the archives. Hope your holiday is grand; I’ll see you again on Tuesday.
