Judging from last week, the discussion of appliances is popular. I still haven’t decided which vacuum to buy. Too much going on this week besides, I was distracted by the arrival of another appliance mid week that I still haven’t put together (guess I’ll be working this weekend too). I’m so excited. I finally bought a vacuum board and a boiler iron. The salesperson practically had dry heaves when I said I had a gravity feed. Since I’ve used boiler irons in plants plenty of times, the up sell wasn’t hard all around. In the event the topic comes up later -as I will be reviewing these– I paid full price.
So my lovelies, here’s the entries published this week over the past four years on this site. As needed, access the archives which lists over 1,600 entries. Don’t forget to click through for the whole list.

Lost and Found (and a quiz)
Hi Kathleen, I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve never heard of a boiler iron. Can you explain why it’s better and also what “dry steam” is? Forgive my ignorance please!
