left side icon

silly question, but it's bugging me.
As I troll the forum, sometimes the icon on the left side of the topic is wiggling. I'm not crazy. Why is that?

It must be your browser, I've never seen that.

I'm guessing it is telling you that thread has been updated since the last time you visited.
